Sow Good Seeds to Reap an Abundant Harvest

sow good seeds to reap abundantly

There is no way to escape the law of sowing and reaping. So, I want to reveal how you can sow good seeds to reap an abundant harvest. It’s not possible to sow only one seed and yield just the single crop. Inside of an apple seed lives an apple tree. Inside of thought lives a vision.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream. However, his dream started as a thought. His idea then advanced into actionable faith. As a result of him taking the first step, he built up a following of loyal followers. The supporters then committed to the result, and the vision produced a good crop in its season.

The produce you see in your life today is a direct result of the seeds you planted in the past. Every seed brings forth its harvest, whether good or bad. You’re indeed bearing and reaping an abundant harvest, but is it the right kind?

We all have room for improvement. If your life reflects goodness, yes, there is room to bring forth more abundance until the day of Jesus Christ.

SHARE ALL OF YOUR GOOD THINGS

Teaching the Word of God to others is no easy task. The Holy Spirit guides the teacher on the subject matter and the style and method of delivery. Additionally, a good teacher does study much.

I teach through writing content and creating videos. I must say it is undoubtedly labor. Since I’m an analytical thinker, I’m not a speed writer, so my process takes time.

NEVER MISS AN UPDATE. SIGN UP FOR LIFE TRANSFORMING CONTENT NOW:

Once the writing is complete, that’s only part of the process. Secondly, writing and videos must be edited and formatted for publishing. Thirdly, they require images and promotions.

Galatians 6:6 CSB says, this Let the one who is taught the word share all his good things with the teacher.

When a teacher teaches you something good, share back to that teacher in the form of your good things.

For instance, you can contribute financially to their ministry, volunteering, encouraging them to keep going in their teaching or sharing with them how their training has helped you. You can also share the instructor’s content with others via email, text, or messenger inbox.

There is no way to out-give God. I love this quote by Dr. Charles Stanley, “You reap what you sow, more than you sow, and later than you sow.”

You can give to any ministry where the Holy Spirit leads you, and it does not only have to be your local church. Where you are fed, you want to contribute back in some way.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED

You cannot deceive God. He knows and sees everything. Scripture says that there is nothing hidden from the sight of God. There is a famous quote, “what’s done in the dark will come to light.” Just because you may not be seeing immediate results from this deception, does not mean it won’t show up. We answer for our actions when it comes to judgment day.

Galatians 6: 7 CSB says, Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked.

Don’t be one of those people that think you can outsmart God. It isn’t spiritual to feel like this. You are much more mature than that.

Dictionary.com defines mock as to tease or laugh at in a scornful or contemptuous manner. Additionally, Dictionary.com defines deceive as to believe something that is not true, typically to gain some personal advantage.

Although God gives us grace and mercy, there is still repentance and accountability that must follow. Also, remember that for every action, there is a reaction. God promises forgiveness, but efforts have consequences.

YOU SOW AND REAP TO THE FLESH OR SPIRIT

God is obvious in scripture on the subject of sowing and reaping. Father has much to say about walking in the Spirit. When you get born-again, your spirit fills up with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, since you now have His nature, you must invite it to be active. You are to surrender to the Holy Spirit so He can have His way. If you do not, you will operate in the flesh.

Galatians 5:16-17 CSB says, I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other so that you don’t do what you want.

The flesh is your old nature, which is in opposition to the Spirit. Your old nature has nothing in common with your new birth.

If your selfish desires lead you, it is a guarantee that you will fall. Holiness does not compete with flesh just as light does not compete with darkness. Thus, it would be best if you decided to either walk in the Spirit or in your flesh. Scripture says there is no good thing in the flesh.

Galatians 6:7-8 CSB says, For whatever a person sows, he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

We continue witnessing changes within this world. So there is no time to play with things that aren’t pleasing to God. If you keep the seriousness of the matter at the forefront of your mind, you will make wiser decisions and think long before you act on something.

DON’T STOP DOING GOOD

You may not notice the results from your prayers immediately, but do not stop praying. You may not see the increase from your financial sacrifices immediately, but do not stop giving. Do not give up on your loved ones or yourself, either.

Galatians 6:9 CSB says, Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

There are rewards for obediently walking in the Spirit. Therefore, continue fighting the good fight for the Lord as you will reap a harvest from your labor. Rewards arrive either in this lifetime or the next. Many of the Saints mentioned in Hebrews 11 didn’t see, what they faithfully believed they would receive, in this life, but they had favor with God (Hebrews 11:39).

You have to look at the bigger picture and trust in the Lord with all your heart. No matter how adverse circumstances appear, please do not give up. Instead, run to God and seek Him out even more. The more challenging the situation, the more you need to pursue the Lord.

Don’t make a permanent decision based on temporary conditions.
