Are You Saved
Are you saved, or will God’s judgment lead you into the gates of hell for eternity? I am calling on all who identify as saved and profess Christ. HELL is an actual destination where the worm never dies, and there will never be a new opportunity to repent and make it right with Christ if you end up there. Your eternal future is nothing to toy with.
Therefore, are you bearing the fruits of repentance if you’re saved? You’ll want to examine yourself because you’ll be responsible for the wages of your sin when you stand before our holy God on judgment day. Romans 6:23 NIV says, for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We can’t fathom the amount of wrath God is holding back right now. He’s longsuffering by giving us a chance to place our faith in His finished work.
Please don’t play around with God but see if you genuinely belong to Him. And if you say Jesus Christ is Lord, and He’s the only way to God the Father, do whatever you must to demonstrate it outwardly.
God is love, but He’s also a righteous judge. I don’t want you to live in deception; it’s time to do a heart check immediately. His grace can save you and deliver you from the penalty of sin.
Saved and Beyond
If you believe John 3:16-21 and Romans 10:9-11, you understand that Jesus is the only way to eternal life. But trusting intellectually with the mind is not enough, and neither is simply agreeing with the truth. Faith in Jesus Christ by His grace (Eph 2:8-9) changes who you are at your core. Immediately you’re:
- Redeemed from the penalty of sin before God (justified) Eph 1:7-8
- Included in Him and sealed with the Holy Spirit in Christ Eph 1:13-14
- Transferred from darkness to light (Col 1:13)
- Given a new nature (2 Cor 5:17, 1 Peter 3-5)
- Seated in Heavenly places with Christ (Eph 2:6)
- Crave God’s Word (1 Peter 2:2)
and many other spiritual blessings and changes.

Did the Gift of Salvation Cost Anything?
You’re no longer an enemy of God. Since Jesus (the perfect, sinless God-man) humbled Himself to take on the penalty of your sins and pay the wages of death, why do you fight against God if the Holy Spirit lives in you?
If the Holy Spirit lives in you, others will see His light. Your saltiness causes others to thirst. His Spirit will bear witness with yours.
Light from Darkness
We live in a time of great darkness, and Christians are the light in this world, reflecting Jesus’ light and glory. We are new creations in Christ as the old has passed away; behold, everything is new. Not only should others notice our unique nature, but we now see the world through a different lens.
We’re no longer in bondage to the devil or this world system.
Our citizenship is in Heaven. I encourage you to read the New Testament letters to the churches for more truths that unpack my sentences.
Christians are peculiar people. We look different than others, and our light within the dark world draws others to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. They are curious about the hope within us.
The light on the hill is not unnoticed. It shines bright for all to see. Light illuminates the darkness.

New Birth – Come out of the closet
When a baby enters this world through the mother’s birth canal, it is no longer hiding in the womb; they’ve made an entrance that everyone can see. The baby is alive and is called a newborn. Sadly, many admit, “I’m a Christian,” but hide in the closet. But just like a baby’s birth shows life—God’s redeeming blood snatches the sinner out of judgment and into the life of a saint. Justification takes place, and you’re a newborn in Christ.
Unseen faith is no faith as salvation produces works.
Most are afraid to tell others the good news of Jesus Christ, and there is no fruit that other believers can enjoy from the sanctification God is producing in their walk.
Many go about daily activities without caring for the needs or souls of the lost. Just like the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah, they are focused on their agendas. They are eating, drinking, marrying, vacationing, partying, shopping, decorating, and self-care-focused without caring for the Bread of Life and the Word of God.
We know what happened to those in the days of Noah. Only Noah and seven other family members were declared righteous by God. Only Lot and his small family fled with the angels, and his wife became a pillar of salt for looking back.
Don’t be Deceived
It’s frightening to conceive how many are deceived. Imagine how many went about life in the days of Noah and Lot, believing they were in good standing with God. The scriptures say Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. (Genesis 6:9).
Noah, his three sons, and their wives went into the ark because God credited righteousness to their account (Genesis 7:13). God shut in the eight righteous people.
Does God count you as righteous?
Oh, how the devil and your heart can deceive you. Unfortunately, because you professed with your mouth and believed in your heart the truths of Christ does not mean you’ve had a conversion.
The question is do you know Christ intimately and incline to His will?
Matthew 7:21-23 NIV says, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Jesus made it clear that not everyone who calls upon His name knows Him, so today, you want to make sure He knows YOU!

- Giving to the needy
does not mean He knows you.
Wallowing in Sin
Living a sinful lifestyle just the same as the pagan and heathen is not a mark of knowing God or Him knowing you. Pagans wallow in sin because they are blind. If you are in Christ, a lifestyle of sin brings public shame to the Lord.
Blatant sin against God needs to be put in check immediately.
Christians battle with sin, flesh, and soul issues. I won’t minimize the fact that we all can and will still sin. My struggles were challenging over the years, and because I sinned against God, I bought dishonor to His name. Nevertheless, we must recognize our power through the risen Savior to overcome sin.
Saved People Can Struggle with Sin
Indeed, we have areas where sin is a struggle, a place of bondage (a stronghold), but Saints have victory in Christ.
Romans 6:8-14 NIV says, Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. 11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
If you are saved (born-again), you were crucified with Christ and made alive in Him. He defeated death and the grave, and so did we because we are justified through His grace and the shed blood. Therefore, we must live to God just as Christ commands us. Sin is no longer your master if you are in Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:1-6)
Although we can’t judge the heart of any individual, we know God does, and His children should reflect and resemble Him. If you hide in the closet because you’re ashamed of Christ, fully surrender your life to the Lord today. Refuse to be a fraud or hypocrite.
The Power of God Saves to the Utmost
God is holy, and everything He does is perfect. His salvation by grace saves the sinner totally, not partially. The Apostle Paul writes to the church in Rome about how powerful the gospel is. From reading about his accounts in the book of Acts, we know how it changed his life and set him on a new course while on the road to Damascus.
In fact, the change was so significant that it blinded him for some days. He became a bondservant of Christ and was commissioned to take the gospel to the Gentiles.
Romans 1:16 NIV says, For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
God’s power is dunamis (Greek for power). It’s not ordinary, but it saves to the utmost. It’s so powerful that it bursts through the soul, thus reviving us spiritually with new birth. We were spiritually dead in trespasses, headed to the eternal fire in hell, eternally separated from God.
What a misfortune to have the full wrath of God poured out on you!

Conclusion
The Bible says, the righteous are bold as lions (Proverbs 28:1), let the redeemed of the Lord say so (Psalm 107:2), and the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17).
Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV says, For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
If you responded to the call of Jesus when the Father drew you to Him, will you go on living as if His righteousness is nothing?
I must be truthful as many false converts are walking among us. I speak urgently to you. If you’re not bearing fruit and either planting or watering the seed of the gospel to the lost—you want to confirm your salvation immediately.
If you have repented, did an about-face unto God, and there is no passion drawing you closer to Him, I urge you to examine yourself.
Refuse to let another day, week, or month go by without checking yourself against God’s righteousness. It’s easy to lie to ourselves and get lost in the crowd. Don’t walk around with a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. If you are not saved, the wrath of God awaits you, and God’s judgment will send you into utter darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. A place where the worm does not die and fire is not quenched. You’ll experience this unrelenting wrath and suffering for eternity with no excuse or chance to make things right with God. Will you surrender today?
