How to be Saved and Go to Heaven

Are you saved and Heaven bound? These days many are deceived about being saved and think they have time to play around with their life here on earth. However, I created a video that can help you navigate your questions about eternity and salvation. For those that get saved (born-again), God writes their name in the book of life. Salvation is found only in Christ Jesus, and you’ll see that in the scriptures.

Many people get presented with the Gospel daily yet reject the invitation to come to Christ due to deception, hatred, and disbelief. But, don’t be deceived, my friend. Everyone that denies the message of the cross will live with the consequences of the choice eternally.

Why You need to be saved

You need to be saved from your sins. The wages paid from sin is death. You were born into this world (through natural birth) as a sinner. Therefore, you trespassed God’s righteous laws. Since you are born into a sinful body, you need a new nature. When Nicodemus asked Jesus how one is born again without going back into their mother’s womb a second time, this is Jesus’ response.

John 3:4-7 NIV says, “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” ⁵ Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. ⁶ Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. ⁷ You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

In other words, if you die and are not born-again, you will not go to Heaven. You will go to hell.

Hell is Real

Hell is a real destination, and everyone that rejected Jesus Christs’ gift of salvation is there and will go there. Since you are reading this post, it’s not too late to turn from your sins. Eternal hell is no laughing matter or anything to delay—this is eternity.

Nobody knows when their time to die will come. Therefore, it’s time to live right. Look up to the Lord to be saved from the wrath of God that awaits all unbelievers.

Matthew 25:46 NIV “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Mark 9:43 NIV If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.

Romans 3:23 NIV for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 5:12 NIV Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

Romans 6:23 NIV For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in^[b] Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Cure for Sin

Jesus Christ is the cure for sin, and faith in Him and His finished work will save you. God did not leave you out here on a limb. He sent His One and Only-begotten Son to die for your sin. Therefore, you can be saved from damnation when you believe in Jesus Christ with your entire being.

Romans 5:7-8 NIV Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. ⁸ But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10 NIV  If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

John 3:16-18 NIV For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. ¹⁸ Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
