Don’t look back at what might have been or what you thought should’ve happened with that person. Tempting as it can be, refuse to look back and reminisce on a connection that never worked out in the past. Let it go. If a genuine relationship were in order, it would’ve already happened. So, if you tried reconnecting with someone who rejected you in the past, don’t look back, do yourself and favor, and thank God for blessing the rejection. Read more

I will make a helper suitable for him.” Many single women desire marriage, but instead of attracting Adam, the opposite is happening.

An article in Psychology Today—How Many Decisions do we Make Each Day says, “In fact, some sources suggest that the average person makes an eye-popping 35,000 choices per day. Assuming that most people spend around seven hours per day sleeping and thus blissfully choice-free, that makes roughly 2,000 decisions per hour or one decision every two seconds”.
Wow, that’s a lot of choices!
Waiting on God can feel like it’s taking forever as you wait to meet the right person. The waiting process is all about what you make it as you navigate your single life.
When you desire marriage, patiently waiting requires skill and understanding. Trust me, I know. The hope to be loved and accepted by them is a yearning that won’t disappear. Whether you’re a widow, divorcee, or have never been married, handling time alone isn’t always sunshine and sparkles.
So let’s talk about waiting.

Are you married to Christ while navigating the single life? Some single believers are not aware that they are married to Christ. He is the bridegroom, and we (the Church) are His bride. I don’t mean you use “I’m married to Christ” as an out to push potential mates away, but this marriage is our first ministry. We learn to navigate this single season we’re in when we submit to Him faithfully. When your relationship with God is good, your desire to enter into a healthy and God-glorifying marriage is possible.
